Our Pastor

Pastor Steve House

Pastor House came to know Christ as his personal Saviour as a 7-year-old boy when his family began attending Bible Baptist Church in Everett, WA which at the time was pastored by Ronald Storz. He obeyed the Lord by being scripturally baptized several weeks later after the cast was removed from his arm because of a broken hand.

At the age of 16, while still attending Bible Baptist Church with the rest of his family, he started to feel as though God was calling him into the full-time ministry. Since the ministry was not what he wanted to do, he fought the calling before finally relenting to the will of God in his life. After attending a year of Bible college, he married his high school sweetheart, and finished his final three years of schooling at Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College, graduating in 1991.

From 1991 to 1993, Pastor House was an intern for Calvary Baptist Church in San Dimas, CA (today it is Lighthouse Baptist Church in La Verne, CA). In July of 1993, feeling led by the Holy Spirit to go back to the Pacific Northwest and having received an offer to take a mission work in Hillsboro, OR, Pastor House, his wife Jimna, and his 9-month-old son Mark, moved to Hillsboro with a little support from just a couple of other churches, and trusted God to provide the rest.
